Is this normal on potho roots??? It’s one solid circle and very sturdy.Should I cut or keep? Bought these today at Lowe’s on clearance . They were mixed in a decorative pot (zero drain holes)with three other plants. Got it home and dumped it out .

That’s normal! You can pull them apart gently or just leave them as is

This is not a pothos. Most likely a Philodendron Brasil. Those roots are perfectly happy.

I wouldn’t cut it. It’s not rooted at all. Don’t stress it out more than it needs to be. It will already go through a little stress moving to a different environment. This is one of my favorite plants!! The contrasting colors are just gorgeous.
