Blanche got the big chop at the advice of literally everyone. What they didn't tell me is how many is too many? Are these too long? Does anyone want a pothos prop lol

SunnyThat’s too many in one jar!😂 No room for roots. Put 3-4 pieces in any recycled glass or plastic container you have. They just need to hold water. You can propagate in a variety of potting mix such soil, sphagnum moss, perlite, Lechuza pon or LECA clay. Pothos is a good plant to use to experiment with different substrates. You can put them all into a 6 inch pot or larger to grow a full thick pot of plants.

Wonderful! Thank you!!! I figured that was too many but it looked nice in the photo. My goal is to have a full bushy basket of pothos.

Then, place them about 2 inches apart in one pot when the roots are longer than 2 inches. I add rooting hormone powder when they are moving from water to soil. I fertilize every two weeks with 50% diluted liquid fertilizer. The photo shows my philodendron Rio cuttings in a water tight modern bud vase/centerpiece.

It’s supposed to hold a single flower bud in each hole with florist foam inside to stick the stem into. 🌷 The lid slides off to clean. Too much work. So, I recycled it. The roots float. The cuttings are only one leaf and one leaf node each.
