I rescued a pothos that had broken off and fell onto the floor in Aldi, it has definitely grown some roots a few months later and I'll be able to transfer it soon! Could someone suggest a pot for it I Only have ceramic at the moment and I don't know if I should let it climb or grow down

You can let it climb or trail! Whichever you’d like. If you want bigger leaves, climb. For a pot, I’d suggest something not so porous so you don’t have to water as often. (I do ceramic or plastic, terracotta dries way too quickly for me since I’m low maintenance) Pothos are very thirsty and once they fill their pot they need water very often. Only water when the soil is dry, or the leaves look limp.

Also since you’re growing in an enclosure, a non porous pot will be more beneficial since the plants roots are used to the higher humidity.

Ceramic would be fine for it, especially being a moisture loving pothos. I let mine do both, trailing down or tacked along the wall

At it's size do you think I should just let it sit in the pot and do it's thing?

I think youd be fine to set it up on a pole now if you wanted. Just make sure there's no pulling on the roots. They get such huge gorgeous leaves on poles too.
