someone help!! i’m not sure what’s wrong with my neon pothos. i’ve kept it outside for months and it’s been happy. it was perfectly healthy two days ago but today suddenly there are some blackening leaves that are droopy and soft. could it be disease? or maybe it’s too hot out now? please help!!

My advice would be to chop off the affected leaves and do a thorough pest/fungus assessment

It could be a few things. It could be sunburn based on the even black consistency. It could be root rot from sitting in a water soil mix too long. Fungal growth is an also a possibility. I recommend removing the pot and checking for root rot. A smell of swamp mud and mushy roots are indicative of root rot. Replace the soil, disinfectant the pot and roots with a hydrogen peroxide rinse if it’s rot. Repot in a well draining mix. Water only when the soil is dry.
