VickieMy Pothos thrive in Molly's Aroid Mix with some extra chunky perlite added to it.. It looks as though yours is in coco peat or coco coir, I'd definitely repot your plant baby into some kind of Aroid Mix that is chunky so the roots can breathe properly and that way water don't sit in that soil.. over watering will be impossible then.. I hope this helps..

I've two Pothos so I think I'll report both. They both came from the grocery store believe or not lol so I assume the soil is just some basic all purpose of sorts. Hopefully this does the trick. Thanks so much ๐

You're very welcome, I know it took me some time to figure out the soils, I never knew there were so many things you had to do to plant soil, I was just a miracle grow gal until a year ago, didn't even know what perlite was, ๐

You might want to stick in some tampons to wick away all that moisture so that your plant doesnโt die on you. Wonderful hack. Iโd do four all around. Hope this helps, keep up posted.

SapphireWhenever I overwater, Iโll put the plant in water for just the day and let the soil dry out at the pool in the backyard. It also burns the fungus gnat eggs to a crisp ๐๐ฅ. Once the soil dries out, Iโll put the plant back in the pot and water again (lightly this time :3).
