So on my mother plant im noticing lately in the main body she is doing yellow leaves. The vines are doing fine no yellowing there. Is there something im missing on why this is happening lately.and its not just a few at a time.. it can be like 3 or 4 at a time. I've done that about 4 times lately of getting those yellow leaves off. And it would be all of a sudden. I check my plant daily too..

    Several things can cause leaves to yellow and fall off including low light, excessive fertilizer and too much or too little water. Add a grow light since winter days can be shorter. Plus, the sun angles change which can mean less light and lower intensity of light on the plants compared to summer. Use less fertilizer. Dilute the fertilizer more or use it less frequently if fertilizer burn is a likely possibility. Let the soil completely dry before watering to avoid overwatering and potentially root rot if the issue is overwatering. Some plants are sensitive to hard water and will drop leaves. Use filtered water instead of tap water. 🪴🍀

    So she sits near my only window that gets good sunlight, but I've adjust my blinds lately so it isn't directly on her..I was thinking sunlight burn but its random where the leaves are yellowing. I haven't used liquid fertilizer on her lately. And I've been following the app on a water schedule and that seems to help but I have gone from 5 cups of water to seven cups in the last 3 or more months. I use distilled water wirh all of my plants. So idk what im missing.

      All my pothos get direct sunlight from east and south windows in the winter and they don’t get sunburn, they seem to enjoy it. Did adjusting your blinds and the yellow leaves happen about the same timeline?

    I still dont understand what's going on.. yellow leaves are happening g more and more on the main body of the plant. I just watered it yesterday.. 7 cups of water..the soil was dry when I stuck my finger in it to test it. So idk whats going on. Should I cut back the water or what

    So its still happening and ive given 4 cups of water today.. the soil was very dry and tight too. And now its happening more and more if I water or dont water.. I dont understand what's happening.
