Hey everyone, Looking for advice: what’s the best plant food to use for a pothos propagating in water?

    I put a little bit of rooting powder in the water and stir it up before adding the cutting. Top off until the cutting has roots about an inch long. Next time it needs water, I'll add liquid fertilizer at 1/2 concentration. Usually they're ready to pot soon after; I do it when the roots are a couple inches long and have secondary roots. That's what I do for most plants. For pothos, I put them in water or add them into another prop cutting. Those things will root quickly just about anywhere and they'll usually speed up the root growth of any plant in the same container.

    I can’t say it’s the best, because I haven’t tried everything, but I use Superthrive Foliage Pro and I love it. I mix a half of a cap of the fertilizer in with a gallon of water and my semi hydro plants and propagations seem to thrive!
