I’ve had this golden cuttin in water for like 5-6 weeks now or so I think. What are these little white dots? Are they roots? Seems like odd development compared to the rest.

    I would say, just wipe them off if they don’t just wipe off, they might be roots, but my immediate thought was some kind of pest, but I really don’t know

    is it a skinny jar where they may have been squished? also i recommend maybe a jar where the leaves face the sun but the roots are blocked, like a mug or opaque vase. the roots can get confused by the light, weird ik. Hope this helps!
