All that’s Golden

Propagating Satin Pothos Need some help from you experts. I am trying to propagate my beloved Satin pothos that has been growing like crazy since I moved to a condo 6 months. She is in South West window. I have 2 cutting in water for about a month now. There’s absolutely no growth or roots happening. The leaves are still heathy and green. But why isn’t rooting? Not sure I cut in the right spot.

I use a drop of clonex to speed up the propagation process

Also you need nodes to propagate a pothos. Only one of your clippings has a node (circled in red)

Yes make sure the nodes are submerged — cut a little off of that stem so the node can be in the water. Nodes are roots waiting to grow

Completely agree. The root node on the stem is not in the water as shown in your photo. The cutting is living like cut flowers in water. I’m surprised it lasted so long.

Thanks for all your advice. I recut them at the nodes and 2 of them have rooted. 2 has no signs of growth. 🤷🏽‍♀️
