I’ve had my pothos plant for over two years. And it’s consistently done very well. I’ve noticed it gets this strange greenish “web” in the soil after it is watered. It hasn’t always done this. Doesn’t seem to harm the plant at all because the plant is otherwise very healthy. Any idea what this green web is?
Such a pretty Pothos! When did you last repot? I believe that is some mold/fungus growing due to dead organic matter and compacted soil. It doesn’t harm your plant but it is a good indicator that your soil needs to be refreshed.

I too had a Pothos do well for a few years before it started getting this fungus stuff. I found that it needed to be repotted in a more breathable pot like terra cotta and replaced the soil with fresh soil that I added perlite and orchard bark to for drainage. I kind of overdo it on making the soil extra breathable to prevent mold issues, especially since I live in a humid environment. And I exclusively use terra cotta pots.
2 Me gustaThat's flowerpot parasol. It's a totally harmless fungus that's trying to bloom into a cute little mushroom. If you see blooms frequently, it can indicate overwatering, but most of the time it's just enjoying the good quality soil and ideal growing conditions. Do not allow pets or children to eat the mushroom (it's not lethal but it can cause stomach upset). If you want, you can keep it as a companion species. If you prefer to remove it, you can pick the mushroom or scrape/aerate the soil at this stage. If for whatever reason you need to completely kill the mycellium, you can treat the soil with hydrogen peroxide. This kind of mycellium is common in soil (you actually pay to get it if the soil is advertised as "mycorhizal"), so it'll be back unless you sterilize your soil every time
