Any reason why the stems of my pothos look like this? Theyāre orange colored and if you look close it seems like there is a film and the base of each š§leaves look normal and happy though so Iām not sureā¦

Kadeslooks like the stem is rotting. Iād pull it out of the water and see if itās squishy. If so cut as far up as possible past the orange coloration. After chopping Iād leave it out of the water for a while so the cut end can callous over

You can also spray it/stick it in a diluted hydrogen peroxide mix

Iāll try to dry them out, I donāt have any hydrogen peroxide right now. Itās odd that theyāre just starting to rot after being in the same place and jar for so long, any thought on why? I change the water when planta tells me

Honestly im not sure, it might have been starting to rot and then just started showing it visually

AshlynnIāve had the same thing happened to me. I cut just above where the root is starting to rot as high up as I can to the healthy part just beneath the node and honestly, I just stick my back in the water and normally theyāre fine
