Hello Pothos Friends! I have a neon that seems very happy, but there’s some minor damage that I can’t pinpoint the cause of. It looks like some kind of pest damage, but I’ve checked the plant over every day for weeks and seen nothing. I’ve been cleaning the leaves once a week just to be sure that there’s aren’t any pests anyways. If it was old leaves then I wouldn’t be as concerned, but it’s newer leaves have very minor damage. They come out perfect but within a day or two some of them have these marks. It puts out a new leaf pretty much every day (no exaggeration) so it’s healthy and happy. I just can’t figure out how this is happening or if it’s even a problem. Would love to hear your thoughts.

I might be wrong with the lighting, but that doesn't look like a neon to me, more like a jade maybe

I'm thinking either low humidity or mechanical damage. New leaves are very delicate. Is there a lot of traffic around it?

No it’s hanging in my window from the curtain rod and my kids cannot reach it. My pets are all reptiles that are contained and can’t reach it. It just seems like pests but I can’t find any.

Well if you can't find pests then try raising the humidity. You can get a humidifier or even just misting the leaves that are unfurling once or twice a day helps.
