Just a reminder that mealybugs can actually hide inside the unbelievably small crevice between a leaf and the vine, and sometimes they don't make an appearance for weeks or a even a month for two. Aria started out as four 10 inch leaves that I water propped. Cleaned them really well when I brought them in then saturated them with a neem oil mix. Everything was all good until new leaves started appearing. Now every new leaf that unfurls already has some friends hitching a ride inside. I HATE these things. They are soooooo hard to get rid of. I've done sprays, alcohol, been, washed the whole plant in insecticidal soap, everything. She's in water so Bonide isn't an option, although I hear they're generally resistant anyway. Anyone have a suggestion for treating these little a-holes systemically in a hydroponic setup?
