Can anyone tell me what causes mold on top of these plants? I even repotted it and I can’t get rid of it. Any tips on what type of mold it is and if I can get rid of it? It’s also struggling with growth, it only grows on one side and doesn’t have any new leaves coming in on top. Let me know if it’s worth saving.
You might be overwatering but if you’re not then you probably need some more airflow to your plant. Get a fan and/or get it in higher light.

Mold needs a moist substrate to grow. And your plant looks overwatered. Also looks like the soil is extremely heavy and dense. That kind of soil retains moisture and in that large of a pot, the soil probably never dries out between waterings. To me, it looks like you need a smaller pot, with drainage, with chunkier, looser soil. And allow the soil to dry out about 50% between watering. You can also bring the stem up and anchor into the potting soil where it should root and give you a fuller plant.

I'll add to this to say treat with diluted hydrogen peroxide for immediate cure! But yes, it will always come back unless you take the measures above to avoid creating a desirable environment for mold to grow

Avoid using soils with moss including peat. Moss can hold too much moisture too long. Add lots of aggregates like perlite for added drainage. Reduce the watering frequency, if needed. Add better air circulation, as suggested. Increase lighting to help the plant use more water per day. 🪴🍀
