Hi guys! I am absolutely killing this plant and I’m not sure why. The leaves started to turn yellow as soon as I bought it about 2 months ago, I thought it was the light so I got a grow light but it’s only getting worse. Not sure what to do.

    It could be a watering issue… over/under watering maybe?

    Yeah, my opinion would definitely be a watering issue (over or under) like the other comment said.

      One a week (that’s what the shop I bought it from was doing)

      I, personally, water when I notice the top of the soil looking dry or when the leaves start to wilt a bit, which is usually every 1 1/2-2 weeks. Also, check the roots for any root rot, just to be safe and place them in a window with Tons of sun, they can survive in lower light but they do not thrive in it.

    I loved that you started this off with “I am absolutely killing this plant…” I chuckled because that’s exactly how I feel sometimes. Whenever my similar pothos looks like that, it’s usually because I over watered. May she get well soon!

    I agree with all the previous comments, and would add that maybe repotting and placing her in a different location where it gets more natural light might help 💚🪴

    Take off the pot to check for root rot. It looks overwatered or the roots are sitting in the drainage water. Also, check for overgrown roots blocking the drainage holes. 🪴🍀

    Don't worry, pothos are very resilient, once you know how to care for it it'll bounce back real fast! Make sure you prune those dying/dead leaves. The plant will keep sending water and nutrients to the dying ones, so if you get rid of them it'll encourage new growth. Good luck! 🤞

    I found that my pothos started to yellow because it needed to be repotted, so I would check the roots :) also, check what everyone else said!

    Do everything the rest of the comments suggested. Additionally you need to prune off all those yellow/brown/damaged leaves. Your plant is wasting energy and nutrients trying to heal them when in reality it can’t.
