This app told me to mist my pothos plants. However, I just researched why the leaves had white powdery spots and it said that the leaves should not get wet, bottom watering is preferred

    you don’t need to bottom water a pothos but i don’t mist — it can open you up to bacterial and fungal infection, leaf burning depending on when you’re doing it, rot, pests. pothos is very adaptable and the naturally occurring humidity in your home is plenty for it. for plants that really do need extra humidity (adansonii in my case as an example) i like to give it an occasional pass with a handheld steamer — it’s fun! and great treatment for new leaves unfurling

      I turned off the misting reminders in the app, so just know that’s an option if it suits you

      How do you take that reminder off? I don’t like to mist my plants but that constant reminder is annoying.

      In settings under “plant care” — settings are under the second tab at the bottom
