I was so blessed this summer to watch a family grow in a hanging pothos on my porch. The plant took a beating but it was worth every second.

    That almost happened to us one year with a hanging pothos basket! The parents got spooked and abandoned the eggs but I’m happy for the birds you helped!

      They were house finches. If I sat on the porch too long, she'd flutter and flap around like she was saying, "Okay, that's enough. Time to go, I'll take it from here!" What a bossy squatter.

    So jelly! We got nothin’ but big bossy crows in my front yard. I’m going to plant a hummingbird’s delight in the fall in my backyard to make up for it. 🌺

      I've been seeing a lot of hummingbirds but they're moving so quickly I can't grab my camera to catch a photo of them.
