Help! My Marble Queen isn’t draining enough and may have a little root rot. What can I add to the bottom of the pot so the hole doesn’t get clogged? Thanks!

for me, if i have a pot that doesn’t have a lot of drainage holes, i but a layer or rocks on the bottom of the pot and then put the soil in. that way it gives more drainage for soil and not as much soil will clog up the drainage holes
좋아요 1개To add holes to plastic pots, I heat a screw driver and push it through the plastic to make extra holes. I add perlite to my soil mix for more drainage. I line the pot with a coffee filter or a used dryer sheet cut to fit so the dirt doesn’t escape the pot when watering.
