alright, I’m back with another question! Do I need to cut this and propagate it or is it a lost cause? I bought the plant like this and I’m wondering if it’s a root or not…if I do need to cut it, where would you suggest? Thank you lovely people!!
If you’re referring to the brown thing hanging in the second pic, it’s an aerial root and seems fine to me! If it smells bad or is mushy tho just cut it off as close to the stem as you can and it should be good

Looks like it might’ve tried to root into the soil at one point. All normal!
