HELP! My pothos leaves have been rapidly turning yellow. I’ve been removing them and I thought the initial problem was the soil being too dry but after watering I’ve still had a few leaves turning yellow. I’ve had her since September and repotted about a month ago and I haven’t had any problems till now

It could either be overwatered, there’s root rot or it’s root bound. A lot of the time if you trim regularly, that’ll prevent leaves from turning yellow as frequently

I repotted recently and it was root bound but I untangled the roots so it shouldn’t be root bound…how can you check to see if there’s root rot? I also haven’t trimmed her at all so that could be it

To check if the roots are rotting just pull your plant out and if they’re black or rlly dark brown they could be rotting just make sure to drain after you water it to let it drain out and it shouldn’t rot

Have her light conditions changed? If you’re now in winter where you live, and she’s not receiving any additional light to counteract the shorter days, she could be dropping leaves to compensate.

This is what helped mine who was going yellow. I put her under a grow light and the yellow leaves stopped, and she’s back to being healthy and popping out leaves

Second Mads, where I live there’s been tons of overcast days and I’ve had to get some grow lights for my pothos’, ever since I did they’ve started pumping out leaves again and turning all of their leaves away from the east facing window and towards the grow lights, so cool to see
