All my Pothos look fabulous, except this Global Green 😣 Are they normally dramatic? This used to be a full plant in a 5” pot! What little is left is not doing well.

Hellooo, I’ve had 22 Pothos plants and let me just tell you Global Green is notorious for being on the more dramatic side, rather than an easier one like Golden Pothos / Neon. The yellowing and wilted leaves suggest severe root rot or overwatering. What many of us tend to do when trying to save a plant. The fact it was one a flourishing plant, and now so small and dead suggests something called ‘Dieback’ Likely from root stress / Infection. This specific species is more sensitive to watering schedules, and drainage environments. So for a quick diagnosis ask yourself, does the pot have good drainage, is the soil compacted/soggy (Soil should be airy and light) is it getting enough indirect sunlight, and pothos like humidity. Even though many say it’s not an essential for them, it is! Humidity helps leaves become glossy, handsize, and encourage growth. But this plant looks recoverable, just stressed. I wouldn’t give up on her.. and if you are truly unsure of your Pothos condition, propagate. One of the best few things to do when you just need a fresh start. Goodluck

Thank you so much! I do believe you’re right about the root rot. It’s now sitting in wet perlite and we’ll see if it recuperates!
