It feels like weeks and weeks and weeks ago that I purchased some silver lady cuttings. I placed some golden pothos cuttings with them to encourage root growth. Well clearly the golden pothos are alive and well. But still no growth from the silver lady.
I’d recommend adding a pothos cutting to the same water as the silver lady - it’s fast root growth releases hormones to encourage the other one to grow. Also, I’d replace water instead of topping off and/or add very small amounts of liquid nutrients to the water.

This is how I root my scindapsus cuttings as well, and I find the pothos does root really quickly and the scindapsus takes quite a bit longer. I do also find it helps to have at least 2 nodes of the scindapsus under water, but it looks like maybe your cuttings are 1 node, so that may not be possible. If you have any rooting hormone, you could try dipping your cuttings in that and then putting them back in with the pothos. Honestly, even doing that and having plenty of nodes for them to root from, I still find that only about half my scindapsus cuttings ever root. Maybe someone who's really good at rooting scindapsus will have better advice 😅

Are they getting enough light/warmth?

Silver lady’s lap take a while to come out of shock, it could simply be that it’s just still trying to work its way out of the shock the clipping causes
0개 좋아요 They definitely need lots of warmth, I put all mine in soil and in my green house under bright light and I’ve gotten a lot of new growth regarding the roots but not much on the top half
