Pardon the top shoot. I haven’t decided on her final placement. I just finished stuffing the upper part of the moss pole. I have quite a lot of loose vine at the bottom of Esme. The entire fringe is running free. As it grows there really isn’t much room to thread it through the other stems as many of them were directed to the moss pole from the outer edge. Should I trim her back and propagate the cuttings? Should I remove the stems furthest out and propagate them and plant them closer to the moss pole? I could really use some advice on what I should do if we keep all the growth in place. And, advice on shaping her into a better form if that’s what you would choose. I hope that makes sense. (I purposely put bends and waves in the moss pole for a more organic feel)

That’s a huge moss pole, so take advantage of it. The pothos is gorgeous, so as long as it is healthy, I’d say keep it going! 💙

She’s already a beautiful shape! I say keep her growing!!! Personally on mine I’ve got a trailing vine down the front and I’ve started 2 vines to climb up the back. (Currently just a few nodes each but 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻; gotta get a nicer trellis for them when they get bigger)

Maybe I’ll start a horizontal moss pole that rises and curls like an octopus arm!

It’s getting most of its light from one direction and that’s why it continues to grow away from the moss pole. I’d keep it going, let some hang and turn it occasionally so that it’s trained to grow up the pole. Good luck 🍀!

I turn it every few days. I had just added that top section and attached a couple of the tendrils that had grown longer. I bent the moss pole sections away from each other. (I have a monstera on the other side) I thought about intertwining them but I’m not sure about that.
