Question What have yall done for your plants to keep thrm warm when the power has gone out during the winter months. This is my first time with plants this cold and id like to prepare just incase.

    Following because I have the same question! I figure if my power goes out I’ll definitely move my plants away from the cold windows but otherwise I’m not sure what I’d do.

    I think as long as the power doesn't go out for days the plants should be fine... but if your plants are on a window seal just put a towel or blanket over the windows. They should be fine even if its a few days. I crack my windows open for fresh air and i live in the rocky mountains of Utah. My plants are fine.

    I’m in NE PA and we have a generator we run. So we hang a blanket over the inlet to the stairwell to the second floor, then hook up a free standing electric heater to keep the 700sq foot 1st floor warm. We start out with the propane powered range with a pot of water on it for the first hour after that we go to the generator & elec. heater ( hope this helps) BTW I also have to worry about 3 Bearded Dragons to keep warm as well.

    I usually toss light blankets/sheets over the plant shelves and then panic about my fish tank not having power. It's kept everyone alive so far lol

    This is what is happening still and i dont understand..Its now going to the vines on the lower part of yellowing like that..
