What the heck is this? I thought it was a mealy bug at first but looking closer at it I donāt think it is? Thereās that big one and I also found two other small ones. Theyāre all coming out of a node!

AlyssaAgh! Eeks lol, so many bug posts recently are giving me the goosies š± definitely looks like a larva/grub of some kind, Iād try to cut and prop sone healthy nodes, donāt know if this will be good for the plant with something munching

Itās a brand new plant and I also got the goosies when I was unboxing it!!! I honestly canāt tell if itās larvae or maybe a fungus? Lol I JUST got this plant so Iām trying to wait before I chop and prop š itās such a nice and full boy!

Oh bummer, thatās so weird lol. Idk, is it wiggling at all š¬ugh true that would totally suck, i guess maybe if it is a fungus take it off if you can with some rubbing alcohol and then spray it with an anti fungal spray of some kind and see if it helps

Itās not! Itās solid but slightly fuzzy. I think itās a FAT aerial root lol. I honestly might chop and prop just that one stem because it creeps me out hahah

Wow! Haha thatās a chonkster of an aerial root then lol, cool, I wonder how that prop will go. Update us sometime haha!

Sparkyš¤plantsLooked like a big aerial root to me at first, then I thought and couldnāt recall ever seeing aerial roots THAT big before. š¬ There is a possibility it is a root from the look of the thickness of the roots below but I am unsure. Good luck with whatever it is! :)

Thatās what I was leaning toward but itās the fattest aerial root Iāve ever seen lol! Itās getting quarantined anyway so Iāll keep an eye on it. Thanks!! ā¤ļø
