I can't remember when I last watered my neon pothos exactly (I used this app for a reminder). Planta is telling me I should water today, but the top layer of soil still seems pretty damp. Should I wait until top layer is dry?

    Yes. Pothos are very tolerant so you could even wait until the whole pot is dry and it would be just fine.

    Agree. Don’t go by planta completely. Use it as a guide to check on your plants and then adjust watering schedule as needed.

    Let her dry. I’ve snoozed the watering alarm on my Jade Pothos for nearly a month because she was still damp. I view Planta’s “schedule” as more of a reminder to check and see if they actually NEED water.
