Anyone know what’s happening to my neon pothos? I’ve had it for a couple years in this spot and it’s been thriving and growing but I’m starting to notice these brown dots on the stems and leaves, and the leaf stems have these weird brown streaks.

The brown steaks are normal and just where the leaf came out of the sheath and it is now drying out. The brown dots are normal too and are just aerial roots, pothos in the wild are climbing plants and they use aerial roots to climbing up trees and vines to reach the light in the rainforest. Some people take advantage of this and grow their pothos with a moss pole and the leaves size up to about the size our heads. The brown spots in the leaves look to just be mechanical damage, no pest patterns, might be too dry when the leaves are forming and coming out, so maybe might need to bump the humidity.

I fully agree with Alyssa. I will add to check the roots to see if the plant needs repotting. Repot if there are more roots than soil. 🪴🍀
