Does my Golden Pothos look okay? What is the brown on the vines for? I’m not sure if this is normal or something to worry about. First three pics are different parts of the vine where the browning is, last pic is a more outward pic of the full plant. It looks healthy other than that I think?
i have this on my pothos as well and am wondering the same thing!!

좋아요 1개 from what I do know your plant looks super happy and healthy and I think the brown part of the leaf might just be shedding due to new growth but I could totally be wrong I’m a new plant mom too it looks like you’re doing a great job!!

좋아요 1개 i’m hoping it’s nothing that will seriously harm my plant. those brown spots have been there for a couple weeks now- since i purchased the plant. but, if there’s anything i need to do to prevent any further damage (if it even is damage) i would love to be able to help my plant out!!

I’m no expert, but all of my pothos do this, the brown was the thin layer that protects the new leaf while it’s developing and as the leaf opens up that skin dries up. I believe it’s normal!

Agree. I also get this on my pothos and other plants after a new leaf has grown. Totally normal.

that's the sheath that protects leaves as they emerge and start unfurling. once the leaf has fully unfurled the sheath no longer has use and dies off. totally normal & healthy! you can pick it off if you want to.

좋아요 1개So i ignored the brown spots like that on my pothos and I’ve lost more than half of my plant. I do think it’s root rot related.

I was told to miss 1 TBL spoon of baking soda to 1 1 L of water I think it help I've been spraying mine and it seems to be working but I'm in the same boat trying to figure it out
