I need some opinions. I should've grabbed a photo but I didn't think about it till after I repotted. Attached is a pic of the plant though. I purchased a small pearl and jade pothos off fb marketplace place last week. Today I was repotting it and each stem only have 1 or 2 roots that are either 2in or less in length attached. My question is do I keep them potted in soil or do I pull them out and prop them in some water? There's 5 of them total. Also, it's kind of hard to tell from the angle but there is a new leaf emerging from the thickest stem out of all of them if that is important information.

    They should do fine either way. Especially if they were already potted. There wasn't any rot? Just smallish roots?

      No rot just super small size and quantity roots

    I’d leave it in the soil and put the pot in a bright spot. maybe just make sure it stays a little more moist for the next couple weeks. Treat it like a propagation where you might check on it more often, if that makes sense. I chop my pothos and stick the fresh cuttings straight back into the pot and they root most of the time
