    That’s right. Depending on the type of pot, you might only need to water your pothos every two weeks.

    It could be the older leaves dying off if no other leaves are affected.

    His other leaves don’t looks to solid or happy either it might be the start of an overwatering situation

    Hi, Beginnerplantmom! I typically water my golden pothos every nine days or so. Weekly waterings is a schedule I have always maintained, but Planta’s schedule has made this easier. I would recommend repotting so you can replace the saturated soil. I would also check the roots for their health — if some roots are dark in color (aside from the appearance of soil) and mushy, they will need to be removed. Once you repot, do not water right away. Give the plant some time to adjust.
