Hey guys! This pothos I bought 8 months ago has not grew one bit… it was under watered so I’ve watered it more and it looks healthy but still hasn’t grown a bit since. Any advice I’d love yall for thanks!💚

      Be careful as if the pot is too big compared to the root system it can actually promote root rot. I have downsized my nursery pot, but moved it to a place with growlight and windows and its grown more and the leaves are getting big too!

    The leaves are beautiful ! Is it getting any sun ?? The two I have are both a bit sassy but were happier when I moved them more towards the window !

    Giving it more water should help it. My pothos was also a bit under-watered so I repotted it and gave it more and it has grown 3 new leaves in a month

    The clay pot will pull water from the soil. Bottom water in a container to water both the pot and the soil. Fertilize it regularly. Don’t repot until the roots are more than the soil to avoid root rot.

      Oh ok sounds good thanks so much! Do you have any recommendations on fertilizer?

      I don’t use any fancy fertilizer regime. I mostly use 50% diluted Miracle Gro with SuperThrive Plant Vitamins every two weeks. Orchid leaf spray is for flowering plants, but, it didn’t work for my hoyas as someone recommended. Osmocote fertilizer beads lasts from 3 to 8 months. It’s slowly released with every watering. There is low chance of fertilizer burn with fertilizer beads. 🪴🍀

    You could try using a grow light if you don’t already have one. Pothos love grow light!

    Hello! I have a 6 ft long golden pothos, here are some tips and tricks! Definitely check the roots, and make sure you have a well draining soil, and a well draining pot. Pothos like smaller pots, this will also place more energy into growing leaves instead of growing roots. Get a plastic pot, so it doesn’t drain water from the soil. If you want to water it more, try bottom watering so it can choose how much water it needs. And definitely invest in some plant foods! Over all: Check the roots Change the pot Bottom water Happy planting!

    Ditto everything everyone else said, but that particular pothos grows a bit slower than its cousins. I have several types of pothos plants, and that one grows the slowest, IMHO. But it should be growing faster than you described. Hopefully it will once you make the adjustments already suggested. 👍🏽👍🏽

    Try repotting with tropical soil into a container 2” bigger than the one it’s in. I find the key is rooting hormone. I sprinkle a light dusting in the hole before putting the plant in it. It’s beautiful!
