   I think there’s too much stem left under past the node. It should be trimmed under the node (as it is) but not so much stem remaining. So cut it closer to the node and see if that helps.

   Yellowing could be the leaf not getting the water or nutrients since cutting the vine from the mother plant. The new roots have not emerged. It’s normal for leaves to yellow and drop during propagation because of this. Root nodes are near leaf modes. Ensure the leaves nodes are always under water which helps the roots grow out. You can add a few drops of liquid rooting hormone to encourage root growth. Pothos plants typically produce their out rooting hormone eventually. I would leave an inch of stem below the last node if you cut the length. The cut area sometimes die off. Cutting too close to the leaf node can increase the risk of the leaf and root nodes dying off. 🪴🍀

   Some of the ones I’m propagating get some discoloration, I think it should be fine!!💚

   The leaves do typically fall off as long as your nodes are good and ur stem isn’t squishy don’t fret
