Hello! Are they on your plant or burrowing into the soil?

If its just on the plant, you can do a mixture of dawn soap and water and mix them into a spray bottle! Cover the soil surrounding your pothos with plastic wrap, and spray down your pothos stems and leaves for a week. And never use this mixture as a permanent preventative for bugs! It will actually damage your plant if you use it long term, but should be a fantastic solution short term. If this does not work, buy Neem oil and mix it into a spray bottle. This will seep into your soil and is a natural safe pesticide for plants <3

i have been treating mealy bugs on the same plant using safer’s brand insecticidal soap, isn’t that similar/the same as using dish soap? side note, do you know if getting the safer’s in the dirt of my plant would also kill it?

I’m not 100% sure, but i think that dish detergent has harsher chemicals than insecticidal soap, which might have a better chance at killing the bugs. Some safer’s in the soil should be fine, but there’s a chance you could kill beneficial bugs like springtails or isopods assuming this is an outside plant. Id order Neem’s and try that, since its meant for soil and the plant. It has a weird smell, but will probably be worth tolerating if it means killing the stink bugs

Its a harsher solution too, so i think its a good shot

I know this is my third chain text, but really id recommend trying the dish detergent solution at least once! Its a really strong cheap chemical solution that really does the trick and tends to obliterate exoskeletons of bugs and kill them (as a TEMPORARY solution to kill the bugs and start over, NOT a long term bug preventative or bug repellant)
