Can anyone help me figure out if I can improve my pothos’ health? I planted this from propagations nearly a year ago, and it’s always been more yellow than my other pothos plants, including the one it was propagated from. I water about every 1.5 weeks currently (due to colder weather), and it gets quite a bit of light daily. The leaves don’t feel soggy or crispy, but are consistently yellow and seem to be worsening. Does anyone know what the cause might be? Thanks! :)
Could be over watering. Do you check your soil before watering or do you just do it on a schedule? Pothos like to dry out fully between watering so checking the soil first is a must. Do you have a water metre or bamboo stick? Those both work to make sure the soil at the bottom is fully dry. I think some of my pothos’ go about 3-4weeks in between watering currently iirc. (We’re just entering winter up here, but I do use a grow light to supplement)

Hi love!! I think this is your sign telling you she might be drowning…. Especially when you take water propagated plants and put them in soil the transition can be rough. I think you could check the roots for root rot and I’d back off on watering by a lot. I’d say water every 3 weeks but check the soil before you do. A wooden chopstick can be helpful to know how far down the soil is still wet. I would let your pothos dry out completely, they are very drought tolerant. If you repot, get rid of the root rot, water less then I think you’ll find she loves it. Best of luck!!

It might be a fertilizer issue if it’s been yellow a year without dropping leaves or having roots rot. Rotting plants don’t live a year unchanged. I would dilute the fertilizer if using full dosages each month. I would give it more light or a grow light for 12 hours a day to help with photosynthesis which greens the leaves 🪴🍀

I agree with Sunny. This looks like a Neon so their leaves are supposed to be yellow and shades of green, however I think it could use a regular light source for healthier growth.
