Hi! Iâm new to this app and group and hoping to find some expert advice to keep my plants alive! In sick bay is my pothos, heâs very stemmy and lacks leaves. I just moved him to get more sun, but should I trim him now? Three of his current stems are almost bare till the end, and one stem is more full of leaves. Was thinking to cut the three bad ones and leave the one that has leaves? Or just leave them all intact for now until he gets more sunlight time. Thanks for any advice!
Youâve got some great nodes there to propogate. Definitely trim and it should fill out.

exactly ! i was just about to recommend this too. cut the leafless ones all the way back and wrap the one with leaves around on top of the soil and pin them down. the ones you wrap around on top of the soil will propagate straight out of the pot and the ones you cut can propagate in water.

1 gilla Yes. If you are new to propagating, Iâd read a bit about it first. Where to cut etc. Itâs a fun plant âside jobâ to experiment with and explore. Iâm still learning. I even have a âhospital/propagation roomâ đ

Yes add more soil. This plant can handle that. Just allow enough space for watering. Maybe 1/2 inch from top. Be sure to check on water need before you water. Planta is just a reminder and not always correct. Pot should be almost totally dry before you water. And with so few leaves, Planta will probably be inaccurate.
