Hi everyone! I found this sapling on my pothos yesterday and am wondering if it is an actual pothos sapling or a different plant sapling. It's growing pretty quickly and I thought that was a bit odd behavior.

emunlikely to be a pothos IMO, they generally pop out like a new stem, i’ve never seen it come up with the white stem like that, it’s generally indicative of a seedling. hard to tell what it is until it’s grown a bit more

Okay thanks so much! I'll wait a bit more to see what she is. Might be a vegetable since I was helping my father start this year's garden

that was my first thought, a pepper or tomato seed would be hard to spot if it dropped accidentally but I didn’t want to sound crazy!!

Wolfen 🐺I think its either a weed seed that was in the soil mix. Or a rogue veggies seed. Pothos very rarely flower and seed. And you would have definitely noticed
