I thought this pothos was a pearls and jade but it's putting out new leaves that are only white and green / more like the n'joy. Is that normal for a pearls and jade or do I have it misidentified?

Itâs probably a pearls and jade like you originally thought especially if thatâs what you bought it as. Plants leaves variegation can vary widely depending on a lot of factors so itâs likely just a diff looking leaf is all
0 gillningarI am not an expert at all.đ But this reminds me of both a pearls and jade and an njoy, which makes me wonder if itâs a manjula?
2 gillningarIâm no expert either but donât manjulaâs have a white centre stripe, light green mid leaf stripe then dark green on the edges? (Sorta like the leaf on the right thatâs half off the image with a tiny white blob in the centre?)
1 gillaMine is being a pain so I donât know for sure. Mine has mostly green leaves while I work out the lighting situation. đ€Ș But when I was researching which kind I wanted to get, thatâs what stood out to me. That you kind of get both. The speckled leaves and the solid white green variegation. Not the same pattern as njoy no, but solid white green variegations. Hereâs the few variegated leaves on mine at the moment.đ€Șđ
1 gillaOh, I forgot, since I ended up getting a mixed pot later that had njoy and pearls and jade in it, I noticed one obvious difference. If you have any other pothos, pearls and jade has thinner papery leaves then the other two I have.
1 gillaOoh!!! Super interesting I didnât know they were speckled at all I thought that was just the queens that had speckles. All the manjulas Iâve seen had the stripes on them. Thank you!!
1 gillanâjoy & pearls and jade â theyâre basically the same plant either way â same care reqs (but for whatever itâs worth yours does look like an nâjoy lol)
