I thought this pothos was a pearls and jade but it's putting out new leaves that are only white and green / more like the n'joy. Is that normal for a pearls and jade or do I have it misidentified?

TylerIt’s probably a pearls and jade like you originally thought especially if that’s what you bought it as. Plants leaves variegation can vary widely depending on a lot of factors so it’s likely just a diff looking leaf is all

Succulent❤️MamaI am not an expert at all.😅 But this reminds me of both a pearls and jade and an njoy, which makes me wonder if it’s a manjula?

SnowstormI’m no expert either but don’t manjula’s have a white centre stripe, light green mid leaf stripe then dark green on the edges? (Sorta like the leaf on the right that’s half off the image with a tiny white blob in the centre?)

Mine is being a pain so I don’t know for sure. Mine has mostly green leaves while I work out the lighting situation. 🤪 But when I was researching which kind I wanted to get, that’s what stood out to me. That you kind of get both. The speckled leaves and the solid white green variegation. Not the same pattern as njoy no, but solid white green variegations. Here’s the few variegated leaves on mine at the moment.🤪😄

Oh, I forgot, since I ended up getting a mixed pot later that had njoy and pearls and jade in it, I noticed one obvious difference. If you have any other pothos, pearls and jade has thinner papery leaves then the other two I have.

Ooh!!! Super interesting I didn’t know they were speckled at all I thought that was just the queens that had speckles. All the manjulas I’ve seen had the stripes on them. Thank you!!

eatyacarbsn’joy & pearls and jade — they’re basically the same plant either way — same care reqs (but for whatever it’s worth yours does look like an n’joy lol)
