Recently got this Satin Pothos and it’s in sad condition. I’ve heard they are harder to raise than other pothos breeds but it just looks sick no matter what. Not pushing out new leaves really and leaves have these weird brown spots (came from the plant shop that way). Any advice would be great!
Except for a couple of leaves, she looks beautiful! Just give her some time

These are Scindapsis and not Pothos, even though that's in the name. I tend to water mine when the leaves curl in. Make sure it's getting plenty of light as well.
5개 좋아요 I never realized she was not actually a pothos! That’s super cool to know now! As for watering, her soil isn’t draining quickly and she’s staying moist more than I would have expected. I have only watered her once (when I repotted her from her nursery pot). She’s also under a grow light for about 12 hours a day.
2개 좋아요 You may want to consider repotting with some fresh chunky soil. Just get a bad of regular houseplant soil and a bag of orchid mix and mix them together. You'll have a chunky affordable mix for your plants 😊

I have both the philo and pothos - I believe you have the pothos. The philo is argyraeus! I personally think this is the hardest type of pothos to care for and much prefer the philo 😅
