Hi everyone! I’m new to being a plant mom! I decided to start with a marble queen pothos, as I’ve heard they’re great for beginners! I just brought her home and I see that her roots are coming through the drainage holes! What do I do? New pot? Thanks in advance!
They're pretty resilient but I would repot. It is that season and it will only grow faster in the warm weather so might as well do it before that happens!

If you see lots of roots coming out the bottom its deffo time to repot

Welcome to pothos parenthood! They are indeed easy plants to care for. Pothos do like to be a little bit snug in their pot, so while roots coming from the bottom usually is a good reminder to repot, I personally will pop them (gently!) outta their pot to see if roots are swirling round in the container. That’s when I repot mine. (Or if they’re getting hella yellow leaves) A few tips if you want ‘em: water when 100% dry down to the bottom of the pot check using a bamboo stick or moisture metre. Brighter the light means more verigation. If you let it climb a moss pole that you keep moist they will produce bigger and bigger leaves. If it starts going bald up top gently wrap a vine around the top and pin it to the soil so the nodes touch soil and will grow into roots.
