I posted my thriving lady last week. Skip ahead and in a matter of two days, I get TWO yellow leaves that are off the same stem - there are 3 new, healthy leaves on that same stem. I did water a day sooner than usual, but a drastic change this fast and only 2 leaves… is overwatering just impacting this stem or is something else going on? And, will they go back to green or do I need to do a snipper-roonie?
yellow leaves do not return to green. the yellowing is from the chlorophyll dying, which can't be reversed. this looks more like nutrient deficiency. new growth not affected, edges of leaves are dying last. in watering issues you see the edges of the leaves die off first

0개 좋아요 It’s probably taking energy from the old leaves and putting that energy into the new leaves if you’re not fertilizing.

Feeding and fertilizing seem to be in order, I do Jobes Plant spikes (non flowering) 2-3 in a 8-10” pot and every six weeks I feed with Miracle Grow for non flowering plants. I change the spikes every 6 weeks.

I have one doing something similar- every time it grows a new leaf, an older one yellows and dies. But I think it’s because I have it in a small cement pot that probably doesn’t allow it to get proper watering. Not sure, but I’ll probably repot it soon
