Can anyone explain/verify if this watering schedule is appropriate for a satin pothos? Is this a glitch because watering every day seems excessive for any pothos.

    Seems a bit contradictory to say it needs to dry out but water every other day. What other settings are you dealing with? Indoor, outdoor? Near a heater? Soil type? All these different parameters affect how often you’ll need to water.

      Indoor. On a window ledge but not near a heater. Soil was whatever it was sold with (assume a standard potting mix). None of these conditions have changed in the 8 months I’ve had this plant and this every day watering just started this week.

    A bunch of my plants moved to like a 2-3 day schedule. I was told by Emma to just snooze them to see if itd fix it, or make a custom schedule

    Just snooze it and it will automatically adjust by 2 days longer each time you snooze because “soil is wet” I’ve had to do it numerous times to some of my plants. Make sure to hit “soil is wet” otherwise it won’t automatically adjust your schedule.

    Thanks everyone! I realized how to fix it. planta had adjusted the watering schedule “based on recent activity” (makes no sense since I haven’t been watering it recently). But it was easily reversed to the previous schedule.

    Definitely a glitch. Keep snoozing it and it should adjust?! Funny bc it did something similar with my satin pothos today. Told me to water it when I just watered it this weekend.

      Try tapping the watering icon on the plant’s page. That allowed me to change from the “special” every day watering to the regular schedule
