I’ve been all over the place and realized today I’ve been neglecting my pothos big time and she has root rot :(( there’s lots of healthy leaves though, can I just propagate them? I don’t know much about propagation so any tips would be nice. I just wanna save her if I can. I cut off the rotting roots and stuck the stem in new water, I hope that wasn’t a bad decision. Again, any help is appreciated!
After cutting off the affected root, let the plant and roots air dry out... usually about 12-24hrs. Then add water, ONLY add enough water to about where the roots sit... if the stem or roots sit in stagnant water it will rot again or cause bugs! Your plant still looks healthy for the most part.

1 j'aime That works! I always just lay mine out on a paper towel to dry. But anyway that works for you! Also, where do you keep her if you don't mind me asking? I keep my propagations in the bathroom (close to the shower, they THRIVE with humidity!) or in a non direct lighted window... before you place back into water just make sure the roots are dry, not mushy! If still wet,damp or mush... continue to let dry!
1 j'aimeI appreciate your help so so much!! I’ve kept it in a few different places, but the bathroom is a good idea. I live in Utah so the air is practically negative humidity hahah. I used to have it in a clear jar right by the window and obviously that caused algae hahah but now I have it away from the window because it got such direct light.
1 j'aime If you can let me know how it's doing in a week or so. Here's mine I keep in the bathroom 24/7 I live in washington state. So humidity is all over the place here lol
I only have one leaf that seems unhealthy in any way, so that’s something haha
So far so good! I lost 1 when I first did it too. It is normal. How is it doing this week?
