Either these are flower buds or just really white leaves, any second opinions?:

The picture is blurry, but could be a root or new leaf/vine growing considering it’s right at a node.
0 Mi piaceLooks like the start of aerial roots. It’s a bit tutu so can’t totally tell. Could also be the start of new growth

1 mi piaceThey’re white, not a dry brownish, and are also very smooth, so I can conclude they are not aerial roots.

they are aerial roots, which are basically just normal roots trying to find something to grow onto,, like ivy grows up a house this plant would do the same if grown naturally,, they don’t come out of the womb aged, they start white & smooth until they dry out & turn brown/barky
7 Mi piaceOh ok ty! :D
0 Mi piaceDo you just leave them? Let them grow and grow? I’m new at this!

it’s really up to you! lots of times they’ll only get about as long as in the picture, some species like monstera will grow really long ones since they’re so large & need stability, but overall it’s an aesthetic thing for indoor hanging plants like this, if you don’t mind the look you can leave ‘em but if they’re an eyesore it won’t matter to cut them :)
