Do pothos have to be winterized?

    It depends on where you are? I’m in California. I don’t winterize anything. We do get temps down to 20s overnight in my area, but that happens maybe a week per year. Usually 35-50 is the overnight low. So my plants do fine. It is a tropical plant. So if it’s outside and you will have freeze and snow, then yes, it could survive and hang on but most likely it will partially or fully die off if you have freezing temps for long periods of time. It can handle spurts of super cold. But not prolong freeze/snow
