I have my marble under a grow light it's about 12 ft away from a sliding glass door that faces Northeast is there a reason why I'm losing variant

    Yes. The plant is not getting enough light! 12 ft away from any window is basically not providing the plant with any light. Get the plant in the window if you can. You still may risk losing variegation. In that case you could put it in a window that faces a different direction or get a grow light

      Yea… I give mine filtered full south facing sun… it still gives a half side- unvarigated every now & then..
