Im having the same problem w/ my marble queen. She has run herself crazy trying to grow outward.

Yes, you can strap her down to the pole so she's growing in a tower like fashion.

Are there specific places to put the ties so it doesn’t kill it?

When i strap to a poll i use the velcro tape, and make a loose-ish circle And it's just cradling the plant. You can pin circle to the pole too if it won't stay up

I prefer trellises for pothos. I don't have to tie them to anything, I can just wrap them around and the trellis holds them in place

I had mine on a trellis for a while and then she started to overgrow it and started flopping forward. 😆 I’m thinking of taking a cutting and doing a DIY moss pole

My big girl on the left used to be on the circle trellis on the right... and outgrew it in a couple months 🤣 I've decided once she fills out that trellis, I'm just going to take cuttings because a bigger trellis won't fit in the cabinet lol

Ohh how pretty! Any you recommend? I didn’t know they made them smaller.

These are the two I have! Both very sturdy and I love that they're not a typical plain trellis (not that there's anything wrong with those! Just not my style lol)

You could just trim her, but it seems you don't want to do that
