    That's a flowerpot parasol. They're harmless and tend to appear in good soil. If the mushroom appears often, that can be a sign of overwatering, but if it appears once or only occasionally, it's just a fun little companion to your plant. If you want to remove it for aesthetics, just pick it. If you have pets, curious children, or anyone with asthma in the house, you may want to remove it and treat the soil with a fungicide (it can cause stomach upset if eaten, and asthmatics probably shouldn't inhale fungal spores)
