Just curious if anyone has experienced this regarding pothos: Iā€™ve had my pothos for maybe a couple years- before I was really into plants. I just canā€™t figure out what is wrong with it. It hasnā€™t really grown, seems stiff, and doesnā€™t hang. I repotted it recently because of the not thriving issue despite it having decent roots. It has good drainage and I wait until itā€™s dry to water. Iā€™ve tried different lighting. When I repotted it, several leaves turned yellow. It doesnā€™t have pests. Does it want to climb?

    it probably wants to climb! also consider that the growing season is coming to an end as fall is approaching (in the northern hemisphere at least- idk where you are) and it will likely go dormant soon. it may also need better humidity, but pothos tend to be hardy concerning humidity šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

      if you try a stake and it doesn't work, honestly just chop it up. that seems to fix it for me most of the time

    Donā€™t know if this is true but Iā€™ve heard that if you move pothos around too much they donā€™t like it. So maybe keeping it in one spot and not moving it will help?

    Iā€™m assuming the care is the same as my manjula pothos. Mine thrive in high humidity, warm/hot temperatures, regular fertilizer, bright light and regular watering. Mine grew faster outside in my south Texas humid and hot zone 9 area than when they were inside. None are on poles. I do fertilize with Miracle Gro twice a month, diluted 50%, and add SuperThrive Plant vitamins to the water. The light is east light. Sun directly hits the leaves until about 10 am. Then, itā€™s in bright shade. My grow lights were the cheap (under $50) ones from Amazon and were insufficient. I recommend a Sansi or Barrina grow light. Better brands. More expensive. But, you get what you pay for. šŸŖ“šŸ€

      Ok, Iā€™ll see if maybe it likes my east facing lanai. I live in southern FL so if it wants humidity, it will get it lol

      I fully understand the high humid. Itā€™s like walking into a curtain. šŸ˜Your plant will do well.

    I had the same issues with my Manjula. I honestly just stuck it through and waited. It sounds like your issue is light. They need more than you think. I keep my pot in my south facing window and water why dry. The leaves are getting big for not being on a pole and are so pretty!
