I prop in 100% humidity for Alocasia and bare stems. To acclimatize them, I unscientifically gradually vent the bags or containers they’re in to lower humidity. 100% is pretty self sustaining, so I may leave a small gap in the bag covering the prop and then check it in a week. Moisture levels after that week will tell me how thirsty the plant is and how it’s acclimating. My props are interspersed with plants that need care so that I don’t forget them. Eventually I just remove the bag or totally open the container and then it’s every girl for herself!
1 gillathanks for the tips! I'm hoping they cna acclimate okay, as that was my concern. but that make sense. I was also wondering if i should just vent the lid so it's not 99%
1 gillaThat seems like an easy way to acclimate them down!
